05-05-12: Inter House Hindi Poem recitation competition was conducted in the morning assembly for the classes VI to XII.
 
28-04-12: Hindi calligraphy contest for classes VI to XII and House bulletin board competition for primary section were held in the Vidyalaya.
 
28-04-12: Result of supplementary exam for classes IX & XI was declared.
 
25-04-12: House bulletin board competition of four houses was conducted. A team of three teachers from primary section headed by Mr. Joginder Singh, TGT Art, adjudged the competition.
 
23-04-12: Class bulletin board competition for the classes VI to XII was. A team of three teachers headed by Mr. Joginder Singh, TGT Art, adjudged the competition.
 
21-04-12: English calligraphy contest was in the Vidyalaya for classes VI to XII.
 
20-04-12 to 27-04-12: Supplementary exam. for the classes IX & XI was conducted.
 
16-04-12: List of students selected for admission in classes II to IX was displayed.
 
09-04-12 & 10-04-12: Admission test for class IX was conducted.
 
07-04-12: House meeting of different houses Shivaji, Tagore, Ashoka & Raman was. House captains, vice captains, sports captains and prefects were selected. They were intimated about their respective duties and responsibilities.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Baddowal Cantt is an English medium co-educational school.The Vidyalaya was established in July 1984 to cater to the needs of the children of defence personnel serving in the installations of Dholewal Cantt. & Jagraon Bridge, Paramilitary forces like ITBP, Central excise, Banks and other Govt. & Semi Govt. organizations.It is located in the campus of 17 FAD Baddowal Cantt which is situated on the Ferozepur Road about 8 Km. from Ludhiana City. The cantonment which houses the Vidayalaya is safe, secure nestled in sylvan surroundings, far from the polluted environment of Ludhiana.

I feel proud to see the team of Laborious teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya Baddowal Cantt working hard with the students to guide them to be polished Citizens of Tomorrow. I am sure under the able guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs) Ambika Kalra. The school will scale even greater height. My advice to the students "face everything boldly, accept challenges and overcome all the obstacles in life".
